Emblem

Thomas Jerome Dantone, aged 87, passed away peacefully October 20th, 2025 surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Thomas was born April 18th, 1938 to Charles and Isabelle Dantone in Brooklyn N.Y. and was the youngest of three children.

He joined the Marines in 1954 and served his country loyally, completing a tour of duty in Beirut, Lebanon. He was honorably discharged at the rank of corporal.

After returning home Thomas worked, for a short time, as a printer. He then joined the Longshoremen’s union where he spent over 40 years working on the piers of New Jersey until his retirement.

Thomas loved going to Atlantic City, going to dinner and shows in Manhattan, and spending time with family and friends.

Thomas was a loving and doting father to his daughter Nicole who predeceased him in 2013. He is survived by his loving wife Joyce of 67 years, his sister-in-law Elaine Mazzarisi and numerous nephews, nieces, and great nephews and nieces.

He will be sorely missed.
