We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home
John Badalamenti, an assistant vice president of the payroll department at Chemical Bank, now JP Morgan Chase, and a longtime resident of Staten Island New York, died on June 18, 2022, at the age of 83. John is survived by his wife Fran of 62 years, his children Rosemarie and Salvatore, his son-in-law David, and his grandchildren, Jay, Justin, Jonathan, Sophia, and Michael. He is also survived by his sister Grace Badalamenti and predeceased by his younger brother Vito Badalamenti.
John was born on December 18,1938 to Salvatore and Rosa Badalamenti. He was born in Cinisi, Sicily and came to America at the young age of seven. He resided with his family in Brooklyn until he got married and moved to Staten Island where he then started and raised his own family.
John was a husband, a father, and a grandfather and no one was more devoted to his family as much as he was. He was a force for sure and his personality was larger than life. He was the most incredible and loving person you'll ever meet. Everyone that met him left with a smile and probably a laugh or two. There are no words to describe the loss that is felt by his passing.
We love you and pray that all your suffering and pain is gone and that you are finally at peace. We are blessed to have shared so many wonderful years with you and we know that you fought very hard to stay with us. Rest easy and one day we will see you again.
In lieu of flowers we are asking that donations are made to the American Heart Association in John Badalamenti's name. Thank you.
